    The most recent roles keep full detail; older roles are reduced to a one-line summary to fit. No role is ever removed. This is a target, not an exact count — Word formatting can shift it.

    Applied to every document you generate. Logos can be PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 2 MB.

    Privacy

    Candidate data and GDPR

    Brandidate.ai is built so that candidate data passes through it and isn’t kept.

    What happens to a CV

    1. The CV — or the LinkedIn profile PDF or text you add — is sent to us over an encrypted connection. We never collect anything from LinkedIn ourselves, and we don’t keep the profile URL.
    2. We read its text in memory and send it to our AI provider, Anthropic, to structure the CV and write the documents.
    3. The Word documents are built in memory and sent straight back to your browser.
    4. The CV, its text and the finished documents are then discarded. None of it is written to our database, file storage or logs, and we don’t keep a copy of the zip file.
    5. Your browser holds the finished file for up to 10 minutes in case the download needs retrying, then clears it.

    Our AI provider

    Anthropic processes the content on our behalf under its commercial terms. It doesn’t use it to train its models, and deletes it within 30 days unless it has to keep it longer to investigate misuse or to comply with the law. This processing may take place outside the UK and is covered by Anthropic’s data processing terms.

    What we do keep

    Your account details, branding settings, saved job descriptions and hiring manager notes, billing records (payments are handled by Stripe), and a usage record for each generation: the date, which documents were chosen and how it was paid for. The usage record never includes the candidate’s name or anything from the CV.

    Your responsibilities

    For candidate data, you are the controller and Brandidate.ai acts as your processor. Before uploading a CV, make sure you have a lawful basis to process it and that your privacy notice tells candidates their details may be processed using AI tools. Check every document before it goes to a client or a candidate, because AI can make mistakes. Tick Anonymise the candidate whenever a client shouldn’t yet know who the candidate is.

    No automated decisions

    Brandidate.ai writes and formats documents. It doesn’t score, rank, shortlist or reject candidates. Those decisions stay with you and your client.
